Working at Heights Refresher training course in Brisbane and throughout QLD, special $189. This course is run in the morning with the ability to book into the Confined Space Refresher training on the same day for the afternoon.

Falls from work at heights is a major hazard for many industries. People who work at height should receive appropriate training to understand the associated hazards and appropriate risk management controls implemented in Brisbane and throughout QLD. This course has been designed for those that may be required to work at heights and use safety harnesses and fall arrest equipment.

• Anchor points
• Harnesses and belts
• Fall protection equipment
• Fall arrest equipment
• Calculating fall clearance
• Accessing fall risk areas
• Ladders
• Safe Working on roofs
• Calculating fall clearance, inspection care and maintenance of equipment

This refresher course is only to refresh the Day 1 Work Safely at Heights Course and the one (1) unit of competency delivered in the OHSA Course. You must provide a Justice of the Peace or Commissioner of Declarations certified copy of your previous Statement of Attainment issued by a Registered Training Organisation which lists the one (1) Units of Competency prior to you undertaking the training course. You must also have had experience working at heights within the past 2 years otherwise it is recommended that you undertake the initial full course. If you are unable to produce a JP Certified Statement of Attainment for this unit of competency and evidence of recent industry experience (i.e. your position description listing work at heights tasks or a letter from your employer verifying that you have worked at heights in the previous two (2) years) you will be issued a Statement of Attendance and NOT the Statement of Attainment.

Participants should have sufficient literacy and numeracy to read and comprehend instructions for safety at the workplace. Participants will need sufficient physical ability to lift up to 20kg infrequently from ground to overhead and access heights above 2m.
