This OHSA Confined Space Entry Course (CSE1) contains three nationally recognised units of competency, including RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces, MSMPER205 Enter confined space and MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit. This is considered the initial course for those working in or near confined spaces and is recommended before you wish to proceed to the OHSA Gas Testing and Permit Issuer Course (CSE2).
The Confined Space Entry course is designed for people who work in or around confined space areas. It is the initial basic introductory course that allows someone to conduct a risk assessment and enter a confined space environment to conduct work.
This course is available at our training centres in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We are also able to conduct on-site training with either our purpose-built mobile training facility or at a workplace and tailor the training course to suit the practical scenarios relevant to your company’s operations.
Working in confined space environments is high-risk and has been responsible for many work-related fatalities and incidents. Legislation requires that all persons with work activities related to limited or restricted space/s must undertake appropriate training and be assessed as competent, to perform those activities by Australian Standard AS2865 Safe Working in a Confined Space.
