How Our Construction Safety Courses Support Your Compliance & Career

OHSA delivers nationally recognised construction safety training across Queensland. We help individuals and teams meet legal obligations, manage risks, and access better jobs. Whether you’re starting out or working in high-risk environments, our flexible courses keep you compliant, job-ready, and safe.

IN-HOUSE HIGH-RISK WORK LICENCE TRAINING ONLY

We deliver our High-Risk Work Licence courses exclusively through in-house group bookings. These include Dogging, Rigging, Forklift, EWP, Scaffolding, and Crane operations.

We must complete an on-site equipment audit before delivering your training. This ensures compliance with current Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards. It also guarantees your facilities meet the requirements for safe, effective training.

Call 1300 647 200 or email info@ohsa.com.au to arrange in-house training or request more information. Our team can tailor a training solution to suit your specific workplace needs.

Construction Induction – White Card

Start your Construction – CPCCWHS1001 – career with site access compliance.

Our face-to-face White Card training is mandatory for anyone entering a construction site in QLD. Delivered by experienced trainers, this course covers essential WHS responsibilities, hazard identification, and emergency procedures.

  • Ideal for new workers, apprentices, and labourers.

Height Safety Training

Work safely at elevation with confidence.

Falls from height are one of the leading causes of injury in construction. Our Working at Heights course teaches correct use of fall protection equipment, anchor points, ladder safety, and rescue planning—all aligned with QLD WHS regulations.

  • Required for roofing, scaffolding, rigging, and elevated platform work.

Confined Spaces Training

Enter, work, and exit confined spaces safely and compliantly.

This course trains you in the procedures, permits, and equipment required to work safely in enclosed or partially enclosed environments. It includes gas testing, isolation procedures, and emergency readiness.

  • Essential for plumbers, maintenance crews, and civil contractors.

General WHS & Safety Awareness

Understand your responsibilities and reduce worksite risks.

OHSA’s broader WHS courses cover everything from incident reporting to workplace ergonomics. These programs are ideal for supervisors and teams looking to strengthen their workplace safety culture and meet legal requirements.

  • Great for supervisors, site managers, and subcontractors.

Licensed Work & High Risk Roles

Get certified for specialised, regulated work tasks.

We offer in-house training options for Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging, and Scaffolding. These are WorkSafe QLD-recognised high-risk work licences that are essential for certain construction tasks.
