Cameby Downs Mine has been given the state government approval to increase its production from 2.8 million tonnes a year to 3.5 million. The Yancoal mine is an open-cut thermal coal mine, located near Miles, west of Brisbane. It is expected to extend the mine’s production to 75 years.
