The course is designed to be delivered via an intensive study mode with additional learning to absorb the content through self-study after the course. As such the course is delivered using a blended approach which includes an initial five (5) day classroom-based component plus the additional post course reading and assessment submissions.
It is expected that the course will take students approximately 450 hours, including the 5-day intensive component, to complete. Students must complete this course within 12 months of enrolment.
Depending on individual background, experience and access to resources, the total hours needed to achieve the BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety may vary, but all learners need to meet all the requirements as outlined in each unit of competency.
