Our nationally recognised High Risk Work Licence training equips workers with the knowledge, skills, and certifications required to perform specialised tasks safely and in compliance with WorkSafe QLD and WHS legislation. Delivered through in-house group bookings only, each course is designed for real-world application in construction, civil, logistics, and industrial settings.
Courses are available for in-house group bookings only, and an equipment audit is required prior to delivery to ensure compliance with current WHS standards.
Our High-Risk Work Licence training courses—including Dogging, Rigging, Forklift, EWP, Scaffolding, and Crane operations—are available as in-house training only.
Operate forklifts safely and legally in busy work environments.
This course provides participants with the skills to operate a forklift truck in warehouses, distribution centres, and construction sites. It covers load handling, manoeuvring, safety checks, and compliance with QLD legislation.
Work at height safely using boom-type EWP equipment.
Training includes operating elevated platforms above 11 metres, hazard control, fall protection, emergency descent, and safe access. This is essential for trades working at height on construction and maintenance projects.
Erect and dismantle scaffold structures according to WHS standards.
OHSA offers scaffolding training at all levels, covering the safe use of scaffolding systems, load ratings, hazard control, and height safety protocols. Each level builds on the last to suit varying project demands.
Safely sling loads and direct crane operations on-site.
This licence is required for anyone selecting lifting gear and directing load movements. Training includes rigging plans, communication methods, load assessments, and risk control for crane operations.
Perform complex lifting and structural rigging safely and efficiently.
From installing static lines to erecting structural steel and managing dual crane lifts, our rigging courses prepare workers for a variety of critical roles involving load-bearing structures and mechanical systems.
Operate cranes safely where rotation is limited but load handling is critical.
Training covers non-slewing cranes (e.g. franna cranes), including hazard identification, load charts, communications, and stability assessments. This licence is vital in many industrial and civil environments.
