Fork Lift

Forklift Licence (TLILIC0003)

Operate forklifts safely and legally in busy work environments.
This course provides participants with the skills to operate a forklift truck in warehouses, distribution centres, and construction sites. It covers load handling, manoeuvring, safety checks, and compliance with QLD legislation.

  • Ideal for logistics staff, construction workers, and warehousing teams.

Elevating Work Platform EWP

Elevating Work Platform (EWP – Boom >11m)

Work at height safely using boom-type EWP equipment.
Training includes operating elevated platforms above 11 metres, hazard control, fall protection, emergency descent, and safe access. This is essential for trades working at height on construction and maintenance projects.

  • Required for painters, electricians, signage installers, and maintenance crews.

Scaffolding

Scaffolding (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced)

Erect and dismantle scaffold structures according to WHS standards.
OHSA offers scaffolding training at all levels, covering the safe use of scaffolding systems, load ratings, hazard control, and height safety protocols. Each level builds on the last to suit varying project demands.

  • Critical for construction teams, scaffolders, and event infrastructure staff.

Dogging

Dogging (DG Licence)

Safely sling loads and direct crane operations on-site.
This licence is required for anyone selecting lifting gear and directing load movements. Training includes rigging plans, communication methods, load assessments, and risk control for crane operations.

  • Essential for crane assistants, riggers, and site crews.

Rigging

Rigging (Basic to Advanced – RB, RI, RA)

Perform complex lifting and structural rigging safely and efficiently.
From installing static lines to erecting structural steel and managing dual crane lifts, our rigging courses prepare workers for a variety of critical roles involving load-bearing structures and mechanical systems.

  • Designed for experienced doggers progressing into higher-responsibility roles.

Non Slewing Mobile Cranes

Non-Slewing Mobile Cranes (CN Licence)

Operate cranes safely where rotation is limited but load handling is critical.
Training covers non-slewing cranes (e.g. franna cranes), including hazard identification, load charts, communications, and stability assessments. This licence is vital in many industrial and civil environments.

  • Recommended for plant operators, crane crews, and mobile equipment specialists.
